Eric brings over 20 years’ experience in the Finance Industry with him to Adero.

Eric began his career as a trader for a technology focused hedge fund located in San Francisco. He left the hedge fund to become the head trader for a well known regional Investment Advisory firm in Silicon Valley. In 2005, Eric joined Adero and has been an integral part in growing the firm into what it is today.

Eric graduated from the University of California at Davis with a major in Managerial Economics in 2000. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and has been since 2009.

What do you enjoy most about wealth management?

I enjoy everything about the field, but what I enjoy most is seeing the look of elation when we are able to help clients work through a tough situation. There’s nothing better.

What do you enjoy most about Adero?

The camaraderie. The firm’s culture is built on solid core values and team members live them every day – in and out of the office.

What do you feel is the biggest value Adero brings to its clients?

The confidence clients have knowing that Adero can help them through almost any situation relating to their financial lives. As a group we’ve seen a lot and our team-based approach provides clients with the knowledge of the firm, not an individual advisor.

Which quality makes you best suited to provide wealth management services?

The passion to work tirelessly for my clients to ensure that their financial lives are secure.

What professional accomplishments are you most proud of?

Becoming a CFP® and being able to be a part of Adero from the beginning. I’ve seen the firm evolve from a small “shop” to a full grown business. The best part is that as we’ve grown, the core of the business (putting clients first) has never changed.

What do you love to do outside of work?

When I’m not in the office you can typically find me at home playing with my kids…or out on the golf course.

What is the biggest challenge in providing advice?

Finding the “best” answer for each client. Every client and every situation is different, so having the depth & breadth of knowledge to provide several potential answers is the biggest challenge we face.
